Production

Nonino Amaro Quintessentia is an Italian herbal liqueur crafted by the Nonino family, renowned for their expertise in distillation since 1897. This amaro is produced using an ancient family recipe that combines a variety of herbs, spices, fruits, berries, and roots, infused into a base of ÙE® Nonino Grape Distillate. The distillate is aged for a minimum of 12 months, and the final blend is further matured for over 24 months in oak barriques and small casks, resulting in a complex and refined spirit.

Tasting notes

Amber with deep red hues, this amaro offers an extraordinary fragrance of mountain herbs, spice, and licorice. On the palate, it presents a harmonious balance of sweetness and bitterness, with notes of orange zest, bitter orange marmalade, thyme, menthol, and exotic hints of mango. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant bitterness that invites another sip.
