Production
Robert Weil, one of the most esteemed producers in Germany’s Rheingau region, has built a reputation for crafting Rieslings of exceptional purity and precision. Established in 1875, the estate has remained committed to sustainable viticulture and meticulous winemaking, allowing each wine to reflect the distinct characteristics of its origin. The Kiedricher Riesling Trocken is sourced from estate vineyards in the village of Kiedrich, where steep slopes, mineral-rich soils, and ideal sun exposure create the perfect conditions for Riesling to thrive. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in a combination of steel and traditional large oak casks. This approach preserves freshness while adding depth, resulting in a wine that is structured, vibrant, and expressive of its terroir.
Tasting notes
Aromas of ripe stone fruit, Meyer lemon, and delicate white flowers emerge, complemented by a touch of wet slate. The palate is bright and focused, with crisp acidity, citrus zest, and a hint of savory depth, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish.
