Leirana Albarino
Spain
Leirana Albariño is a serious, coastal expression of Rías Baixas, combining citrus, orchard fruit, floral notes, and a distinctly salty edge. Stainless steel and large neutral foudres help preserve purity while adding subtle breadth. The result is a focused, energetic white wine with impressive length and a clean Atlantic finish.

Production
Leirana Albariño is produced by Forjas del Salnés in Rías Baixas, Galicia, one of Spain's great coastal white wine regions. It comes from Albariño grown in the Val do Salnés, the coolest and most maritime part of the appellation, where granite-based soils and Atlantic conditions give the wine tension, sea-spray character, and clarity of fruit. Fermentation and ageing take place in a combination of stainless steel and large neutral foudres, helping the wine keep its direct coastal profile while gaining a little extra depth and texture.
Tasting notes
Pale yellow with green reflections. Aromas of Meyer lemon, pear, apple, honeysuckle, ginger, and wet stone. The palate is dry, taut, and finely etched, with citrus and orchard fruit, firm acidity, a salty mineral line, and a long floral finish.
