Viberti Langhe Nebbiolo
0 kr.
Sourced from vineyards within the Langhe appellation, the Nebbiolo vines thrive in calcareous clay soils at elevations between 400 and 500 meters. The combination of soil composition and altitude contributes to the development of the grape’s characteristic acidity and tannic structure. |
Product description
Viberti Giovanni, a family-owned winery established in 1923 in the heart of Piedmont’s Langhe region, is renowned for its dedication to traditional winemaking practices. Their Langhe Nebbiolo exemplifies this commitment, offering an approachable expression of the Nebbiolo grape. The wine is crafted from hand-harvested Nebbiolo grapes, which undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve their aromatic integrity. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 10 months in stainless steel tanks, with an additional 3 months in steamed wooden vats known as “tini” to enhance its structure and complexity. This meticulous process results in a full-bodied red that balances fresh tannins with an elegant, long finish. | |
