Product description
Quinta do Pégo, located in Portugal’s prestigious Douro Valley, is renowned for its high-quality port wines. The estate’s Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port showcases a commitment to tradition and meticulous winemaking. Produced from premium grape varieties, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, and Sousão, all sourced from “A” classified vineyards, the wine is aged in oak barrels for four to five years before bottling. This extended maturation refines the port’s complexity while preserving its bold fruit character. Unlike many LBVs, Quinta do Pégo’s version remains unfiltered, enhancing its depth and aging potential. | |
